Job Overview

AVMATS Jet Support is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Room Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient supply of parts to our technicians and the accurate tracking of inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply parts to technicians as requested, utilizing a thorough understanding of inventory levels and part locations.
  • Process and ship parts to customers via various courier services, including UPS, AirFreight, and regular mail.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, rotating stock as new parts enter the inventory and ensuring accurate tracking of inventory levels.
  • Load, unload, and receive parts, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Arrange for the pickup of parts ordered from local vendors, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Control inventory levels, identifying and segregating stock that is no longer serviceable or has exceeded shelf life specifications.
  • Distribute technical information to relevant departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform other duties as delegated by management personnel, supporting the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our inventory management processes.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of work-related experience, preferably in a warehouse or inventory management environment.
  • Pallet jack experience and proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in documenting processes and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks with speed and thoroughness, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to follow standard safety precautions and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more unassisted.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience and certification, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
