Aquatech is currently seeking a full-time Project Engineer to join our IWS Department. The Project Engineer will undertake the responsibilities outlined below and will be classified as an Exempt employee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in project design reviews.
  • Develop equipment datasheets, including specifications for valves and instruments, in alignment with project scope and design criteria.
  • Create and update project-specific Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD.
  • Submit datasheets for client approval and assist in obtaining vendor quotations.
  • Review vendor quotes for accuracy and collaborate with the procurement team for order placements.
  • Monitor shipments and manage all materials sent to the fabricator.
  • Support the Project Manager with budgeting information.
  • Establish and periodically update the project schedule, keeping the Project Manager and clients informed.
  • Collaborate closely with fabricators to ensure project execution aligns with plans.
  • Conduct site visits to the fabricator to address issues promptly and ensure project timelines are met.
  • Engage in conference calls with the Project Manager and clients to discuss project status, provide updates, and document meeting minutes.
  • Maintain records of document submissions and circulate client feedback to relevant teams for resolution.
  • Prepare Operation and Maintenance manuals during the project's later stages.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Project Management or Engineering.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes to review progress at fabrication facilities.
  • Ability to interpret Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor when interacting with clients.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD is essential.
