This role will involve managing environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivering technically excellent services, preparing technical proposals and reports, conducting environmental research and analyses, supervising field investigations, and managing staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering, and at least 6 years of related work experience. They will also possess LEED AP or PE certification, proficiency in environmental due diligence, and knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing environmental investigation and remediation projects;
  • Performing complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects;
  • Supervising field activities and ensuring correct interpretations of findings;
  • Managing and delivering on multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines;
  • Effectively organizing, writing, and editing draft proposals, reports, and other documents;
  • Participating in the identification and pursuit of new clients, developing additional work within existing projects, and attending business development meetings with new and existing clients;
  • Providing direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments, coaching, training, and motivating staff assigned to environmental projects, and participating in interviewing and hiring staff;
  • Coordinating other work groups across office locations and disciplines on an as-needed basis;
  • Interfacing effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, subcontractors, staff, project personnel, supervisors, and others;
  • Performing other duties as requested.
