We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing test specimens, and working on projects related to materials selection and corrosion testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and conduct laboratory experiments to test the properties of materials and substances.
- Analyze test specimens and document findings to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Perform tasks related to materials selection, corrosion testing, and analysis to support the development of new products and technologies.
- Inspect, test, repair, and install laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Work independently on project activities under the supervision of the project investigator.
- Adhere to Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Assurance protocols on all projects.
- Record research activities in the lab book to maintain accurate records.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a similar field is preferred.
- Must have some knowledge/experience with hydraulic pressure testing methods, such as MTS, Instron, Servohydraulic, Fatigue testing, and Tinius Olsen.
