Clinical Nurse Specialist III

The Clinical Nurse III will provide patient care, evaluations, and treatment in accordance with Professional Nursing Standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining a clinic, including inventory management and requisition of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care, patient evaluations, and treatment in accordance with Professional Nursing Standards.
- Provides preventative education programs to students, such as residence life programs and student organization programs.
- Uses the health care team approach to provide triage of patients, physical assessments, and treatments, including the administration of medication and therapy as directed.
- Maintains and operates the autoclave for sterilization of instruments/supplies.
- Maintains and monitors patient records, assesses health care needs, and provides patient education.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop educational programming focused on health promotion initiatives for students.
- Provide presentations to students; may be one to one or for a group audience.
- Assist with outreach activities held on campus.
Requirements:
- Education - Associate degree in Nursing.
- Experience - Four years of previous experience.
