Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will possess the skills to diagnose hydraulic issues, service, assemble, and install hoses for a varied clientele, including sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and rental services. This role also involves conducting sales outreach to foster relationships with both existing and prospective customers. If you have a mechanical aptitude and enjoy engaging with clients, a career with PIRTEK may be an excellent fit.
As a PIRTEK MSST, you will operate from a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center using a specialized service vehicle designed for mobile operations, enabling you to perform sales and service tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base.
- Conduct service calls within the local area.
- Assess equipment conditions and identify potential hose failures.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work vehicle, inventory, and tools.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing issues on-site when feasible.
- Perform all tasks safely and with a commitment to quality.
- Provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
- Execute other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined with experience in heavy equipment or similar fields.
- Successful candidates are positive, self-motivated individuals.
- Experience as a mechanic or possessing medium-level mechanical skills.
- Attention to detail, especially under pressure.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions: heat, cold, rain, dirt, and noise.
- Ability to safely handle tools in confined spaces and around heavy machinery.
- Demonstrated pride in workmanship and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Clean driving record.
- Criminal background check will be conducted.
