About the Role:
Northside Hospital Inc. is a leading healthcare provider, renowned for its cutting-edge facilities and commitment to excellence. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our patient care teams, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of administrative tasks, including preparing and maintaining patient charts, transcribing physician orders, and entering data into our electronic patient care system.
- Work collaboratively with patients of all age groups, providing empathetic and professional support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families, fostering a culture of respect and compassion.
- Contribute to the efficient functioning of our patient care units, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and principles.
- Excellent typing skills and proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a patient care or hospital/medical clerical position.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer software and systems.
- Service excellence skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Work Schedule:
7pm-7:30am, with weekend requirements and on-call responsibilities as needed.
