At Piedmont, we are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist. This role will provide clinical support in critical situations throughout the hospital, acting as the primary contact for the STAT Team (Stabilization, Teaching, Assessment, Transport).
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to all on-campus medical emergencies, providing timely and effective care to patients in need.
- Collaborate with Critical Care Patient Coordinator/Direct Admit/Heartlink staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Perform patient surveillance/screening functions, maintaining a high level of vigilance and attention to detail.
- Act as a clinical resource to critical care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain professional development, staying up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Two (2) years critical care experience.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- Current ACLS/BLS certification.
