About the Role:
Northside Hospital Inc. is a leading healthcare provider, renowned for its cutting-edge facilities and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical team in providing top-notch care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting.
- Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients are met.
- Perform a variety of patient care duties within a multidisciplinary patient care team, as delegated by physicians.
- Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned based on individual competency and the needs of the team.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.
- RMA or CMA certification is required if employed at North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant.
Work Schedule:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
