We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at St. Claire HealthCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide initial care and treatment to patients with physician supervision and in accordance with established regulations, privileges, and protocols.
- Function within the scope of practice as directed and supervised by their supervisory physician and/or alternate supervisory physicians.
- Consult with physicians on Hospital's medical staff concerning matters beyond or outside the APP's professional ability.
- Assist in the training and education of students, nurses, and paramedical personnel as requested by Hospital in matters within APP's professional specialty.
- Perform the duties specified herein in Hospital or at other designated sites provided by Hospital.
- Completion of an accredited Physician's Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Program (APP).
- As required for Physician's Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Certifications.
- Certification by the Kentucky State Board of Medical Licensure and in good standing with the KBN required.
- BLS AHA-ACLS ATLS PALS ALSO NRP certifications.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level. The employee works in an area with good lighting and climate control.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this job include sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel, communicating with staff, patients and visitors, and standing, walking and being on feet for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
