We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join America Insurance and Tax Service. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company's compliance with all legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter financial data and transactions into our accounting system.
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare trial balance and reconcile accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Analyze budgets and other financial information to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Complete required tax forms and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) or proficiency in a second language.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
