Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at CEENTA. As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and administrative support to our physicians, including greeting patients, obtaining and documenting medical histories, and reconciling medications.
  • Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as ordering supplies, stocking rooms, and scheduling appointments.
  • Respond to patient messages and prescription refill requests, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Index lab reports, procedure notes, and other documentation to maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
  • One to two years' experience as a medical assistant in primary care or otolaryngology preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) OR successful completion of one of the 3 other approved routes as defined by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred.
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAM) OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification from American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
