MyKelly is currently looking for a Quality Control (QC) Chemist to join our esteemed partner in the pharmaceutical sector.

This role involves performing routine testing for product release and stability, ensuring compliance with established site policies, departmental protocols, compendial methods, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Position Details:
  • Employment Type: Full-time, on-site, direct-hire (permanent)
  • Compensation: Based on relevant experience
    • Chemist Level: $28-32/hour for candidates with 3+ years of experience
  • Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct laboratory analyses (FTIR, HPLC, GC, dissolution, transdermal testing).
  • Maintain adherence to good laboratory practices, documentation standards, and peer review processes.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities to ensure timely completion of testing.
  • Prepare documentation (IQ/OQs, stability protocols, reports) and generate Certificates of Analysis.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Experience in Quality Control or Analytical Laboratory settings is essential.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience required for Chemist position.
  • Self-motivated, capable of multitasking, and skilled at meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, USP, and analytical methodologies (HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer).
  • Familiarity with chromatographic software, particularly Empower 3 or Chromeleon, is highly desirable.
