About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our Commercial HVAC team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products and services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and optimize the site's quality management system, including NCMS, CAR/SCAR, Deviation, calibration, and Internal Auditing processes.
  • Influence business bottom-line results by delivering and reporting quality data, focusing on metrics and actions to assure effective tracking of operational performance.
  • Responsible for product/process quality for the entire Supply Chain, from supplier to customer, minimizing Quality-related risks through creation and maintenance of PFMEA, Control Plan, and Quality ABC's.
  • Benchmark business processes against best-in-class and drive implementation of best practices throughout the organization.
  • Participate in New Product Development, measured by participation in DFMEA development, and leading the PFMEA, Control Plan processes, and PPAP process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline is required; Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience in quality or quality engineering in a manufacturing environment that has embraced lean concepts, QMS manufacturing practices, and progressive customer relationships is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Knowledge of various quality system methodologies, including Lean, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, DFMEA, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, etc.
  • ASQ Certification for Certified Quality Engineer and/or Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 annually, plus uncapped sales commissions.
