In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Operations, you will oversee a dedicated team and take charge of the global processes related to technical revenue and essential accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the comprehensive accounting, business, and system processes to ensure adherence to revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) while analyzing and reporting revenue metrics for the organization.
- Conduct technical research and analysis for significant revenue agreements, crafting detailed technical memos to support the accounting stance.
- Evaluate monthly and quarterly revenue outcomes for precision and thoroughness, communicating findings to the executive leadership team.
- Serve as the primary liaison for both internal and external auditors, as well as cross-functional teams, regarding gross to net revenue.
- Continuously review processes and implement enhancements for efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to modify and enhance system reports and operational processes.
- Lead the integration of various processes across legacy systems.
- Review and approve SOX controls and manage internal and external PBC requests.
- Mentor and guide a team of 3-4 senior analysts.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in accounting and revenue roles within high-tech or related sectors.
- Experience with revenue transactions involving distributors and OEM customers in the semiconductor industry is advantageous.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and possess strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with SAP and Oracle Cloud environments is a plus. Fundamental understanding of ASC 606 is essential.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred. Experience with Big 4 firms is a plus.
