We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Senior Doc, a leading provider of mobile mental health care services.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Senior Doc, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, individualized mental health care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes.

The estimated salary for this position is between $150,000.00 and $300,000.00 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including evaluating mental health status, cognitive function, and behavioral concerns in elderly patients.
  • Develop and implement personalized mental health care plans, addressing conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia, and other geriatric psychiatric disorders.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring patients for side effects, interactions, and treatment efficacy.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and mental health education for patients and their families, enhancing their understanding and management of mental health conditions.
  • Build trusting relationships with patients, families, and caregivers through empathy, active listening, and exceptional communication.
