Position Overview
The Ambulatory Nurse Education Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the professional growth of nursing staff within the LifeBridge Health Medical Group. This position is designed for a seasoned educator who can serve as a mentor, leader, and facilitator in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Practice to deliver comprehensive educational programs for nursing staff.
- Conduct orientation sessions, competency evaluations, and ongoing educational initiatives to ensure clinical excellence.
- Empower nursing professionals by fostering a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
- Regularly assess the educational needs of clinical staff and develop programs that address these needs effectively.
- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to engage adult learners and enhance knowledge retention.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is required; additional education or experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in nursing education or clinical practice.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License is preferred, along with American Heart Association CPR certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners.
