Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospice Aide to join our team. As a Hospice Aide, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide personal care and support to patients in their homes, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and ambulation
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, transferring, and positioning
  • Observe and report patient conditions, including vital signs and any changes in their condition
  • Document patient care and observations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and meetings
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training in hospice care
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients, as well as lift supplies and equipment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
