Job Summary

Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Scrub Technician to join our Perinatal Health Care Team. As a key member of our labor and delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with labor and delivery surgical team members to effectively coordinate patient care
  • Anticipate and provide equipment and supplies in a timely and organized manner
  • Maintain a sterile field by using principles of aseptic practice
  • Handle and transport medications and solutions safely and in accordance with hospital policies
  • Perform counts and initiate corrective action when necessary
  • Assist with control of the OR Suite and labor and delivery environment
  • Prepare OR room for next case and maintain position-specific qualifications
  • Facilitate staff development and participate in educational programs
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous scrub tech experience or graduate of scrub tech school
  • Scrub tech certification required
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
