Service Crew Member Job Description

The Front Desk Host is the guest's first impression. It is essential for the Host to ensure that every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and appreciated.

We are looking for initiative-takers with the capability to multi-task and communicate with guests and colleagues alike with a gracious and cheerful outlook.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Multi-task and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve service excellence.
Requirements:
  • Chart Host - 2 years front desk experience in a fine dining restaurant or 4 years similar in a customer service position.
  • Runner - 1 year in a fine dining restaurant of comparable quality of service, or 2 years in a customer service position.
  • A minimum of 3 shifts a week, at least one lunch shift and a weekend shift are required.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance required.
  • Exhibits excellent phone manners and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Can work on their feet for extended periods of time.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Be able to take ownership of your work and willing to be held accountable for your actions.
  • Must have stage presence at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum - 3 years in a restaurant of comparable quality of service and volume.
  • Open availability.
  • Can carry full cocktail and large oval trays safely & consistently.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Host Runner $21-21/hour
  • Chart Host starting at $25-25/hour (full range $25-26/hour)
