Assembly Line Technician

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assembly Line Technician to join our team at Aerotek in Hicksville, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing equipment assembly and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble manufacturing equipment by hand using air and hand tools
- Use screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, etc. for accurate and efficient assembly
- Handle parts usually 10 lbs or less, but up to 30 lbs with ease
- Perform mechanical assembly of small-scale products for shipment to end users
- Conduct electrical wiring and testing of parts in the roller grill department
- Ensure your line meets unit output requirements
- Be open to overtime if required
Requirements and Qualifications
- Manufacturing or Industrial experience preferred
- Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted
- Hand and power tool usage skills
Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in a mid-size manufacturing company in the machine building space. The clean environment features an older building style feel, with an expanding facility adding more space. One earbud is allowed on the floor for personal music, and multiple overhead radios are available. A tasteful dress code includes shirts and shorts, jeans, etc., without spaghetti straps, muscle tanks, etc.
