Job Title: Light Industrial Assembler
Job Description
As a Light Industrial Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling food manufacturing equipment by hand using air and hand tools. You will use screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, and other tools to assemble parts that are usually 10 lbs or less, but may be up to 30 lbs. Your role will involve mechanical assembly of small-scale products to be shipped out to end users, as well as electrical wiring and testing of parts in the roller grill department. You will ensure your line is getting their needed units out and be open to overtime when required.
Responsibilities

Assemble parts that are usually 10 lbs or less, but may be up to 30 lbs.

Perform mechanical assembly of small-scale products.

Ensure your line is getting their needed units out.

Be open to overtime when required.
Essential Skills

Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.

Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted (most parts are 10 lbs or less).

Experience with hand and power tool usage (drill, screwdriver, crimper, pliers).

Work Environment
You will be working in a mid-size manufacturing company in the machine building space with a cleaner environment and older building style feel. The company is expanding to add more space. If a night shift is offered, training will be on the day shift for 2-3 weeks. The company runs a 4-10's schedule, with a 1st and 3rd shift. The 3rd shift starts on Monday night to allow employees to spend full weekends with their families. The schedule includes 5a-3p (unpaid lunch for days) and 7p-5a (paid lunch for nights). Most areas are 40-45 hours, with more overtime available in the roller grill areas. Candidates can wear one earbud on the floor to listen to their own music, and the dress code includes tasteful shirts and shorts, jeans, etc. No steel toe shoes are required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.50
