Production Equipment Technician

- Testing and Troubleshooting: Identify root causes of issues and implement solutions using PLCs and other manufacturing equipment.
- Design and Build: Develop new systems using existing software or create new software to meet production needs.
- Regular Maintenance: Update software, back up data, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Initial Setup: Conduct initial setup of equipment and machinery, including wiring diagrams and control system diagrams.
- Control System Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair control systems on production lines for process flow, networks, and heating and cooling.
- Electrical Component Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain electrical components such as motors, switches, relays, and transformers.
The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC diagnostics and calibration, proper preventative maintenance techniques, and ability to work independently and within a team. Brazing & soldering, motors, pumps, sheaves, and belts, packaging and manufacturing machine repair and maintenance, and experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Honeywell, and Omron are also highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar preferred.
