Job Summary

The Licensed Nurse Assistant plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. This dynamic individual will assist registered nurses with patient care tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

About the Position

As a Licensed Nurse Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with patient hygiene needs, taking and recording vital signs and weights, and transferring patients safely. You will also help with food trays, feed patients, record intake and output, answer call lights and telephone, perform clerical tasks, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Additionally, you will assist with organizing supplies, applying specified patient care equipment, and performing other non-nursing tasks as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a current Vermont Nursing Assistant license. Previous LNA experience is preferred. You must also be CPR certified.
