Job Title: Program Technician II

ATA Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Technician II to join our team in Vermont's Department of Health Access. As a Program Technician II, you will play a critical role in supporting a busy Clinical Unit with clerical and paraprofessional work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process medical and dental prior authorization requests into multiple systems to support medical necessity determination by clinical staff.
  • Perform data entry and data abstraction tasks.
  • Respond to faxes, emails, phone calls, and form development.
  • Capture meeting minutes and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Two years or more of full-time college coursework or an associate's degree or higher.
  • Two (2) years or more of experience in administrative work in an office setting, including complex data entry and data retrieval from multiple systems, customer service, triaging phone calls, taking minutes, and scheduling meetings.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems.
