Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Superintendent to join our team at Veldhouse Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager with carpentry and coordination tasks
  • Provide information and remove obstacles for vendors and subcontractors
  • Ensure jobsite cleanliness, quality control, and compliance with company standards
  • Coordinate framing, siding, door and window installation, demo, material runs, and subcontractor activities
  • Assist with daily logs and scheduling
Requirements
  • 2+ years construction experience
  • Carpentry skills and experience required
  • Ability to read civil, structural, and architectural plans in detail
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and be on feet for long periods of time
Benefits
  • $20-30/hr – DOE. Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate beyond 40 hours in each week.
  • Paid Time Off: 1 week PTO in years 0-1, 2 weeks PTO in years 2-5, 3 weeks PTO in years 6-10, 4 weeks PTO in years 10+
  • Cell Phone stipend
  • Company Vehicles and monthly vehicle stipends are addressed on a case-by-case basis
