Role Summary and Qualifications
As an Operating Room Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Supplying and equipping the operating room while performing the scrub nurse duties in labor and delivery settings.
- Ensuring all aspects of sterile practices and safety protocols are adhered to in the operating room.
- Managing procedural charges, inventory, and equipment.
- Acting as a communication resource within the department and utilizing computer systems for patient information management.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician Program.
- Proximity to the facility within a 30-minute commute.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Background check required.
