Position Overview: The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) serves as a pivotal healthcare administrator responsible for the comprehensive management of medical facilities. This role entails overseeing clinical operations, facilitating communication between administrative personnel and medical staff, and ensuring that patients receive exemplary medical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the clinical staff and formulate policies for the organization's healthcare programs.
  • Collaborate closely with clinic personnel, directors, and physicians to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Oversee the execution of quality enhancement initiatives aimed at improving clinical performance and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Assess advancements and innovations in medical care, providing recommendations for new practices and procedures.
  • Advise the CEO and medical teams on issues affecting patient care.

Qualifications: A valid MD or DO degree along with a State License to practice medicine is required. The CMO typically reports to the CEO and manages a business unit, division, or corporate function that significantly impacts the organization. This role involves establishing overall direction and strategic initiatives, requiring substantial business acumen and leadership experience.

Specialization: Board Certified in Anesthesiology is preferred.
