Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our team at UT Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our oncology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and support throughout their treatment journey.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to identify and address barriers to care, providing education and resources to empower informed decision-making.
  • Utilizing your expertise in nursing, you will develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in managing patient records, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in an oncology setting.
  • Current Texas nursing license and Basic Life Support certification.
  • PREFERRED: BSN degree and prior experience working in outpatient oncology settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including PPO medical plan, paid time off, retirement programs, paid parental leave benefit, wellness programs, tuition reimbursement, and public service loan forgiveness qualified employer status.
