We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team at RadNet Northern California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, and collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
- Communication and Coordination: Answer/transfer incoming phone calls, schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary, and provide patients with appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols.
- Administrative Support: Collect and log all co-pays and fees, coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients, and maintain accurate records.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, intermediate to advanced computer skills, strong multitasking and communication skills, and experience providing exceptional customer service.
- Medical Terminology and Knowledge: Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.
