Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team at The Seelbach Hilton. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.
  • Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, ensuring that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
  • Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up.
  • Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss, and usage per SOP.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year food service or related work experience.
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
