Tenure-Track Professor of Nursing

D'Youville University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced nursing professional to join our faculty as a tenure-track professor of nursing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our nursing program, while advancing your own career in academia.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a variety of nursing courses, including undergraduate and graduate-level classes, using innovative and evidence-based teaching methods.
- Develop and implement curriculum changes to ensure alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in reputable nursing journals.
- Participate in service activities, such as committee work, mentorship, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement academic programs, policies, and procedures.
- Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Certification as a family nurse practitioner or pediatric nurse practitioner from a recognized accrediting body.
- Unencumbered license to practice as a family nurse practitioner or pediatric nurse practitioner in New York or another state with eligibility for licensure in New York.
- At least 5 years of experience in nursing education, with a record of teaching, service, and research.
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
- Publication record in reputable nursing journals.
- Experience with academic program development and accreditation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
