Key Responsibilities- Teach a variety of nursing courses, including lecture, lab, and clinical instruction
- Develop and implement educational programs in a shared governance setting
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students
- Participate in service activities, including committee work and community engagement
- Doctorate in nursing or a closely related field from an institutionally accredited college or university
- Master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners
- Unencumbered license to practice as a family nurse practitioner or pediatric nurse practitioner in New York, or licensure in another state in the US with eligibility for licensure in New York
- Demonstrated advanced practice experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
