Job Description

CORA Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Attendance Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Community Schools team, you will work closely with students, families, and school staff to identify and address barriers to regular school attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support students and families in achieving regular school attendance.
  • Collaborate with school staff, community partners, and families to identify and address underlying issues that may be contributing to truancy.
  • Provide case management services, including home visits, phone calls, and in-person meetings with students and families.
  • Connect students and families with community resources and services to support their needs.
  • Monitor and track student attendance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in attendance case management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, education, counseling).
  • At least 2 years of experience in case management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
