Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our team as a Director of Human Resources. This role will be responsible for leading our HR strategy and implementing initiatives to support and enable our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex organizational issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives
  • Partner with stakeholders to anticipate HR-related needs and opportunities
  • Implement and integrate HR initiatives to support and enable the business
  • Advise leaders on people-related opportunities and challenges
  • Deploy HR and business initiatives in support of the organization's strategies and operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including strategic leadership and/or demonstrated ability to lead projects or initiatives
  • Strong demonstrated employee relations skills, including thorough knowledge of performance improvement, corrective counseling, investigations, compensation, benefits, strategic business planning, team organization, retention, and recruitment, and change management
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in state and federal employment laws
  • Ability to listen, persuasively convey opinions and recommendations, and multitask
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels
  • Ability to be viewed as approachable and objective
  • Strong business-fluency skills, including operational knowledge and financial acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational complexity and manage complex issues in a diverse business environment
