· Compensation: $26.00 per hour
Position Overview
This facility is a leading manufacturer specializing in unique materials. It is recognized as a key coating center in the industry, producing large rolls of materials utilized in various applications, including adhesive products. The company is experiencing significant growth and aims to expand its operations, offering substantial stability and career advancement opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
COATING OPERATOR: Shifts available from 6am - 6pm or 6pm-6am.
As a Coating Operator, you will collaborate in small teams to load large rolls onto the coating machinery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Unwinding and adjusting machine components according to specific product requirements.
- Following work orders from supervisors and completing tasks such as labeling and packaging.
- Monitoring the machine during operation and making necessary adjustments, requiring strong mechanical skills.
SLITTING OPERATOR: Shifts available from 5:45am - 4:30pm or 5:45pm-4:30am.
As a Slitting Operator, you will work both independently and in pairs to operate slitting machines. Your duties will include:
- Setting up, running, packaging, and inspecting materials.
- Maintaining productivity during slower periods and assisting in other areas as needed.

Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and reliability are essential for our fast-paced coating environment.
- Comfort with slower work periods is necessary for slitting operations.
- Preferred candidates will have at least 6 months of operating experience; however, strong mechanical skills are acceptable for those without prior experience.
- Basic mathematical skills are required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs is necessary.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Static dissipative safety shoes are required, particularly in the coating department.
