About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team at LVC Companies, Inc. As a key member of our Portables Department, you will be responsible for inspecting and servicing portable fire extinguishers, as well as handling live communications with clients and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections, service, and installations of fire protection equipment, with a focus on portable fire extinguishers and emergency/exit lighting.
  • Identify and pursue additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations, ensuring code compliance and advising customers accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, promoting customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our service sales team to expand services offered to our client base.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool knowledge.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs+, safely use ladders, work overhead, and navigate tight spaces.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to work efficiently and with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
  • Experience with Field Connect software and pre-engineered fire suppression systems is a plus.
