About the Role: As a Fire Extinguisher Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and servicing portable fire extinguishers, as well as performing installations and repairs on fire protection equipment. You will work closely with our service sales team to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers and emergency/exit lighting
  • Identify and pursue additional sales and service opportunities within existing customer locations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure retention and growth
  • Collaborate with the service sales team to identify new services and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic hand tool knowledge
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs+, safely use ladders, and work in tight spaces
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
