Lifespan is seeking a skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Services department, you will play a critical role in helping older adults manage their financial affairs and maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client financial situations and develop personalized action plans to address their financial goals.
  • Provide financial counseling, budgeting, and organizing services to ensure long-term financial security.
  • Assist clients with financial decision-making and refer them to community resources as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with Lifespan's policies and procedures.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients with financial institutions and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience working with low-income older adults, preferably in a financial services capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
