Job Overview

The Production Assembler I plays a crucial role in ensuring that instruments are assembled accurately and adhere to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for assembly by reviewing instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gather necessary components and tools.
  • Assemble products by checking connections for proper fit and securing parts.
  • Ensure specifications are met by measuring completed components.
  • Maintain equipment functionality through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Uphold a safe and organized workspace by following established procedures and regulations.
  • Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Document production and quality activities accurately.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.
Technical Skills Required

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Interpersonal: Ability to mentor and train less experienced colleagues; effective in team settings.

Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; self-motivated and capable of independent work.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; an Associate degree or relevant technical degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in assembling complex electronic products.
  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent soldering skills and familiarity with soldering techniques.
  • Ability to interpret product design schematics and assembly documentation.
Additional Skills

Proficient in using PCs and software applications. Adhere to safety and housekeeping protocols, maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds.
