Join Our Team as a Production Test Technician

Position Overview:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, 7 AM - 5 PM, with flexible hours
- Compensation: $17 - $20 per hour
As a Production Test Technician, you will receive direct guidance from the Production Test Team Lead and will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks aimed at ensuring product assembly quality. Your duties will include:
- Executing procedures for inspection, programming, calibration, and testing of assemblies and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Conducting assembly and product-level failure analysis, including circuit troubleshooting.
- Carrying out assigned tasks based on oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing documentation.
- Adhering to established Quality Management System (QMS) and Product Test & Inspection protocols for all assigned activities. Completing Test Record data entry and maintaining organized Test Records as required.
- Handling materials in accordance with established QMS and ESD protocols.
- Working efficiently to meet the Test Router Time Standard, contributing to timely Customer Order deliveries and achieving daily objectives set by the Product Test Team.
- Monitoring job progress in your assigned area and effectively communicating any issues that arise.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, observing good housekeeping and safety practices (6S), and learning to perform daily 6S area checks.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by Leadership/Supervision.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- An Associate degree or a relevant technical degree.
- 0 to 5 years of experience as a technician in an electrical product environment.
- The ability to read basic electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems and circuits (analog, digital, power supply, and high voltage) to the component level.
- A willingness to learn about and utilize calibration standards and measurement & test equipment (DMMs, O-Scopes, Insulation Testers, Power Supplies, etc.) for data collection and testing of electronic products.
- Basic soldering skills and knowledge of soldering techniques.
- Familiarity with PCs and PC applications for data measurement and reporting.
- A comfort level with working safely with High Voltages, ranging from 1kV to 80kV, is a plus.
