We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Vice President to join our team at Sun Communities, Inc. This is a leadership position that requires a strong background in property management, resort operations, and sales.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple RV resorts
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability

Operational Excellence
  • Ensure that all resorts meet Sun Communities' high standards for quality and customer service
  • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions
Sales and Marketing
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, homeowners associations, and retailers
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions
Financial Management
  • Develop and manage annual operating and sales budgets for each resort
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to inform business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with residents, homeowners associations, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years property management/resort experience, including 2 years supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to travel frequently with overnight stays
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email, internet, and Microsoft Office Suite
