Job SummaryIMI is seeking a full-time Structural Ironman Foreman to join our team in the Athens, GA area.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in dismantling, moving, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
- Ensure work is performed safely, correctly, and timely.
- Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, project managers, and other employees regarding current and future projects.
- Analyze and resolve work-related problems.
- Maintain time and track production.
- Communicate with Project Managers and General Foreman about establishing and adjusting work sequences to meet schedules.
- Ensure all initial safety and hazard assessments are completed before work begins.
- 6 years' experience in structural ironwork or a related field.
- NCCER certification or completion of a related program through an accredited technical school.
The successful candidate must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, twist, and bend for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including times of inclement weather.
Ability to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines, and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
Must be highly safety conscious and have the ability to see and escape from dangerous situations.
Ability to climb a ladder and step into various pieces of equipment.
