Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiver Supervisor to join our team at Oaks Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support caregiver staff to deliver high-quality care and services to residents.
  • Assist with medication administration, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for caregiver staff to ensure adequate staffing and meet resident needs.
  • Respond to resident emergencies and provide support during crisis situations.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure seamless care and services.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of experience working with seniors in a healthcare or service industry setting.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Required medication training and certification.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Friendly, caring disposition and desire to work with older adults.
  • Must be 21 years of age and pass a satisfactory criminal history check.
  • Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician and a negative drug screen.
Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and support up to 70 pounds for extended periods. Proper body mechanics and safety measures must be followed when assisting residents.
