Job Summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our team. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use the consultative sales process to identify and meet the financial needs of customers.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products and services.
  • Utilize marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
  • Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
  • Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners and refer customers to provide timely and holistic financial solutions.
  • Meet/exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals and enhance year-over-year revenue growth.
Requirements
  • College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills.
  • Experience in the financial industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities and advanced math functions.
  • Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in terms of appearance and verbal/written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures.
Working Conditions
  • Normal office environment.
  • Extending viewing of computer screens.
  • Ability to travel within the affiliate for training and scheduling flexibility.
