Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Child Development Advocate to join our team in the Help Me Grow LA program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support families seeking services through HMG LA, providing guidance on early intervention and health equity initiatives.
  • Cover one service planning area, ensuring comprehensive coverage of diverse communities and advocating for families' needs.
  • Collaborate with regional partners to promote health equity, resource sharing, and collective impact.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of experience as a parent advocate or leader in a human or health service program serving children or families.
  • Lived experience parenting a child with special needs, disabilities, and/or chronic illness.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communications, and empathy for families from all race/ethnic groups.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $25.51 per hour, based on the job requirements and location.
