Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Permit Project Manager to join our team at Rise Broadband. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of submitting and acquiring permits and agreements, negotiating access agreements for the public right of way and private property, and acting as the point of contact for internal and external customers reliant on specific permitting deliverables in a given project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and acquires permits and agreements in all aspects of the deployment process.
  • Interfaces with jurisdictional staff to ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and ordinances, and leverage regulatory status to support deployment objectives.
  • Negotiates access agreements for public right-of-way and private property use as necessary.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with internal functional groups to resolve issues and achieve project milestones, ensuring on-time and on-budget network delivery.
  • Tracks project progress and maintains accurate data entry.
  • Aacts as a point of contact for internal and external customers regarding specific permitting deliverables.
  • Coordinates network permitting functions, including reviewing project reports, identifying issues, and ensuring adherence to cycle times and project forecasting accuracy.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of wireless and wireline technologies, including fiber, outside plant (OSP), switching (MSC, CO), transport and provisioning. Additionally, you should have expertise in joint pole use management, utility pole permitting processes, make ready, and pole attachment for node attachments and field construction. Familiarity with coordinating ROW issues and managing OSP for aerial CATV and Fiber Optic networks is also required.

Working Conditions:

This position may require up to 10% travel. You must be located in or near San Antonio, Alvarado, or Waller, TX. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and experience with Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of Google Earth/Maps is also beneficial.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
