Rise Broadband is seeking a highly skilled OSP Permit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our network construction and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained for the construction and maintenance of outside plant (OSP) facilities and permit design packages.

This role requires strong project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, processing, and verifying compliance with rules, regulations, and legal requirements applicable for all permits required from approving agencies for the placement and installation of fiber optic cable networks.

As an OSP Permit Manager, you will have a strong understanding of wireless and wireline technologies, including fiber, outside plant (OSP), switching (MSC, CO), transport, and provisioning. You will also have expertise in joint pole use management, utility pole permitting processes, make ready, and pole attachment for node attachments and field construction.

You will be proficient in coordinating fiber builds involving power companies, CLEC's, ILEC's, Telco's, and third-party attachers, as well as pole construction, joint use engineering utility/telecom processes, and JPA documents. Additionally, you will have knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), Rural Utilities Service codes (RUS), and building code requirements.

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and track their progress. You will also need to have a firm grasp on scheduling methodology and permitting timelines, with the ability to apply project management concepts and methodologies.
