About the Role

Avery Dennison is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install new equipment and systems, including machinery, electrical wiring, and conduit.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts orders.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve department and site goals.
  • Effectively communicate with engineers, production staff, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Trade school certification or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a multi-craft maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase power, control circuits, and various electrical devices.
  • Foundational knowledge of PLC systems. Extensive knowledge and experience preferred, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of plant utility systems, industrial machine repair, and machine tool operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience using electrical testing equipment (ammeters, meggers, etc.).
  • Thorough understanding of and adherence to safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
