Job Summary:
The Quality Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the quality assurance framework, leading the inspection team, and managing documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations and client specifications. This position is essential for fostering continuous improvement across all quality-related functions, ensuring our products adhere to rigorous aerospace and automotive benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management System (QMS):
    • Design, implement, and sustain the organization's QMS in alignment with ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949 standards.
    • Conduct periodic audits and facilitate corrective action initiatives to promote ongoing enhancement and compliance with the QMS.
    • Oversee both internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up processes.
  • Inspection Team Leadership:
    • Guide, train, and develop the quality inspection team to ensure all products meet or surpass client expectations.
    • Supervise daily inspection operations, including first article inspections, in-process evaluations, and final product assessments.
    • Create and execute inspection protocols, sampling strategies, and control plans.
  • Document Management:
    • Ensure precise and timely management of all quality-related documentation, including work instructions, quality protocols, and inspection records.
    • Oversee the review, approval, distribution, and retrieval of documents to guarantee adherence to regulatory and client standards.
    • Maintain current records and ensure traceability of all quality documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
    • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve product quality and minimize defects.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to address quality challenges and execute corrective actions.
    • Lead root cause investigations and establish preventive measures to mitigate recurring quality issues.
  • Customer and Supplier Quality Management:
    • Act as the primary liaison for customer and supplier quality matters.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to address quality concerns and ensure incoming materials meet established standards.
    • Support customer audits and manage customer feedback, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management capacity within the aerospace or automotive manufacturing sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing quality inspection teams and quality management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality methodologies and tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on fulfilling client requirements.
